classes

so i haven't been to many classes

[like 3 so far] but i'm super excited

it doesn't even feel like i'm in school

my chefs talking about what we'll be cooking

[yeah! chefs!

i have a few profs obviously

but having chefs is just such a weird thing]

and the skills we'll be learning

obviously this program is going to be difficult

but it's such an interesting thing to study

not many people do it and i'm pumped!

on monday i start labs

which is working in the kitchen

i don't think we really start cooking

until next week

monday is getting a tour of the kitchen

and just getting comfortable

tuesday is mis en place

which is prep to get ready to cook!

on an off school topic

last night i got to see metric

it was part of our frosh package

so they played a show for us

it was a good time

minus getting stepped on by a heel

and having a bush of curly hair in my face

they are an amazing band live!

sarah and i happened to get locked out of the house last night

i gave my keys to a housemate

and we lost her right at the beginning on the concert

we got back to the house and it was locked

i tried texting and calling people

but i got no answer

we ended up heading our to the guys house

just to keep warm until we heard something

we didn't end up hearing anything

so had to throw stuff at the window

and wake a housemate up!

i felt bad but she didn't have class today!

those were my adventures for last night!
